Who is this course for?

This course is designed for mental health professionals, including psychologists, registered counsellors, social workers, and medical professionals. While CPD accreditation is currently available for Psychologists and Registered Counsellors through the HPCSA, all professionals are welcome to enroll and benefit from the knowledge.

What will I receive upon completing the course?

Once you watch all video lectures and pass all assessments with the required score, you will receive a course completion certificate. CPD information will be submitted to the HPCSA by the course provider for Psychologists and Registered Counsellors.

What if I experience technical difficulties?

We understand that technical issues can arise. If you encounter any problems while taking the course, please don't hesitate to reach out to us through the Contact Us page or directly on the Course Group page. We're happy to assist you! Support will be provided on week days during office hours.

Who created this course?

The introductory Psychedelic-Assisted Therapy course was developed by qualified and experienced clinical psychologists with a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field. You can be confident you're learning from leading professionals.

What format does the course take?

The course primarily consists of video lectures. In addition to introductory, case study, and concluding lectures, there's one video and a short multiple-choice question (MCQ) assessment for each of the ten modules. While additional resources for further exploration are provided, they are optional and not required to complete the course.

How long will it take to complete the course?

The course is designed to take approximately 4 hours to complete, but you can access the material at your own pace.

Is there a syllabus or outline available for the course content?

Can I access the course materials at my own pace?

Absolutely! You have the flexibility to complete the course material at your own pace, revisiting sections or taking breaks as needed.

Are there any prerequisites or required knowledge for taking this course?

A steady internet connection is required, as all content is only accessible via this online platform (computer, tablet, or mobile phone, via a web browser or the course app.

The course is designed for professionals in the mental health field, and a basic understanding of therapeutic practices is assumed.

How long will I have access to the course materials after enrolment?

We strive to ensure continuous access to your course materials. In the event that Equanimity Therapy Academy ceases operation, enrolled members will receive at least 30 days' notice to ensure sufficient time to complete their training.
